PROJECT SUMMARY

As part of the ED Expansion project the Oncology Aseptic Suite (Cleanroom) was constructed using MMC and is currently known as Platinum House at Southampton General Hospital. The project consisted of a new MMC building constructed next to the new C3 Outpatient and Chemo ward located at the South-side of the hospital.

The project consisted of a new Cleanroom facility with 5x new Isolators, oncology prep area & changing room facilities and a large open plan office space.

The Sen Consultancy team provided a vital role in the areas of Project Management and Quantity Surveying services, to ensure that this project was delivered within only 5 months (including testing and commisioning) and below the alloated budget within the approved business case. Whilst, keeping in accordance with the Trust commitment of delivering satisfactory service with minimal disruption to the patients experience and safety.
